SEARIF (South East Asia Regional Initiative Forum) is a grouping of authorities from South East Asia that was created during the EU-Asia Civil Aviation Cooperation Program sponsored by the European Commission and the European Aerospace Industry that ended in 2006. The overall objective of SEARIF is to create a forum for the National Aviation Authorities and the civil aviation industry from South East Asia to foster aviation safety regulation convergence in the region.
The first task of SEARIF, completed in 2009, was to assist the South East Asia Member States in the implementation of Safety Management System (SMS). In 2010, SEARIF embarked on the development of a harmonised regulation on continuing airworthiness using EASA Part M as a reference.
AvioCATS is proud to be a part of this great project aiming to improve safety record.
